The Environment and Technology Centre is the official technology and start-up centre of the City of Osnabrück. The technology centre focuses primarily on environmental consultancies and environmental technology companies. The broad spectrum ranges from waste and packaging consultancies, a variety of engineering services, chemical analyses and environmental health matters to a consultancy on the Japanese environmental market. These focal areas are complemented by companies from the IT and media industry. 20 enterprises are domiciled in Osnabrück’s Environment and Technology Centre, which offers approximately 3,000 m² rented floor space.
The Centre offers its tenants a comprehensive range of services, from accepting post and packages to the free use of conference rooms. In addition, the Centre offers advice to technology-oriented companies, accompanying their development. The Environment and Technology Centre is able to offer space to young technology-oriented start-ups: the future Osnabrück Science Park will contain Phase 1 of Osnabrück Science Park, where fully functional offices will be offered at reasonable cost in former British officers’ barracks. Twelve young companies have already started working here!
In addition, the Environment and Technology Centre supports small and medium-sized enterprises in issues concerning corporate environmental protection, introducing new programmes every year. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us!
